Drive to Jesus Christ’s childhood home town—Nazareth. Visit the Church of the Annunciation, the largest Christian Church in the Middle East. It is one of the most impressive buildings in Nazareth, and one of the most important Christian churches in the world today. It is full of local flavor of different countries, reflecting the respective interpretation of theology.
Continue on to the Sea of Galilee town of Tiberias. Enjoy a boat tour on the Sea of Galilee, feeding lake gulls and experiencing the beauty of sky and sea. Visit the Church of the Beatitudes, whose octagonal shape symbolizing the eight beatitudes was designed by Italian architect Antonio Barluzzi. Visit St. Peter Church, Peter was the first disciple of Jesus and also the first pope in the history of Christianity. Continue for a visit to the Church of Loaves and Fish, where Jesus performed his first miracle when he multiplied five loaves and two fishes.to feed thousands.
Drive to Mt. Bental on the Israeli and Syrian border. See the old bunkers used in the battle for the Golan Heights during the Yom Kippur War when Israeli troops who were considerably outnumbered by Syrian tanks still managed to defeat them. From this outlook there is a breathtaking views of Mount Hermon and Syria.
Return to the Tel Aviv assembly point, time of arrival about 19:00.
